Lizzy's friendship with her older boss, Sarah, turns into something deeper and much more exciting one rainy day after work, and Lizzy finds herself drawn into a world she never knew existed. Sarah has a dominant streak, and as she leads Lizzy into the role of a submissive, the two women become closer than they ever thought possible. But while Sarah, hurt too many times, wears a ring, and tells guys she's "taken," Lizzy knows she secretly longs for a man. Determined to find one for them both to share, Lizzy is just about to give up when a dark, handsome, virile answer shows up right under her nose. Lizzy may think she and Sarah are going to seduce David--but she underestimates their handsome co-worker, and David turns the tables on them both. But will he be able to tame the untameable Sarah?
Warnings: This title contains erotic situations, graphic language, BDSM elements (domination, submission) and a sexy menage a trois (MFF threesome) that gives new meaning to the word "sandwich."

Bn needs to not allow young nook readers to view these book. This is for adult reading only

Ok people, obviously this book should have a warning on it (not for anyone under 18, BUT WHERE ARE THE PARENTS?? THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY AREN'T MONITORING THEIR KIDS!! We have the right to free speech under the 1st amendment and I fought for y'all for 15 years in the military so you are able to voice those opinions!! The cover SHOULD have been a HUGE clue or the synopsis available before you push the button to READ it!! I found it in the romance section, but the case seems to be that it got classified wrong-mistakes happen. I am going to contact B&N about this so the error can be addressed. I felt this book was well done, especially if you live this lifestyle. She writes about what other people fantisize about!! My only complaint was the ending-could have been WAY better, but at least it was free!

The book was a good read, hot and steamy. As for the other comments that I've been reading. I will never understand why parents let their kids shop without their approval. 11... 13 year old kids shopping? Come on parents, where are you at? Why are you not doing your job and supervising them? It's not BN's place to monitor your kids for you. You want to ban books like this, and make the rest of us suffer because you can't do your job as parents. That's not going to happen, writers have the freedom to write what they want and the rest of us have the freedom to read what we want. So Parents just need to learn to deal with it and start taking control of their kids, spend time with them and guide them in the right direction, rather then let them do whatever they want., and then grip about it later.

I picked this particular short book up for the express purpose of making the determination on whether I should actually BUY Selena Kitt's novel "Alice". To be honest, her writing was decent, the story in "Taken" simple but honest, and the erotic element was sufficiently advanced to make me pay attention. However her writing style, which is perfect for that romance erotica niche, gives me doubt as to her ability to craft a true BDSM erotica tale. The sample of Alice didn't go deep enough to alleviate my fears. Oh well...

I thought this was a great read. Long enough to e worth reading but not so long that you lose interest. Very sexy.

It is obvious that a lot of these reviews did not come from children. If you are that uptight and want to send fake reviews from make believe children, at least spend a little time on them so they might think they are real, geez. Every fake kid said the same exact thing. Put some effort into it you weirdo and maybe we can censor everything you find ugly.

I am at amazememt!! My husband loves the fact that I read it and so am I. Porn without pictures leaves you to imagination!!!! Let your minds wonder and explore. Keep the negative to yourself. I dont see you writing anything! Love this book!

I'm 13 and this comes up no big deal! Sure this book should not be in the 'free' section and bn should let you be able to verify your age before you shop. But also for everyone saying why are children shopping? Because we want to read!! I shouldn't need parents to watch me buy a book on my nook that I saved up babysitting 200$ to buy. I bought it to read. Not to read porn. But on the other side stop complaining kids just skip it and realize that you will see stuff like this, its not forcing u to read it.

This book is a great read. If you are looking for a book to read that is exciting to read this is the book to read but i do not recommend this book for people who are 14 and under it is for people who are at a more mature state of mind. It could me mentally scaring to younger readers & To everyone complaining about the book: No one said you had to read it. This book is a good book.. its just not appropriate for people who have not hit puberty or for people who are not mature enough for it.

Lizzy has steady boyfriend yet finds little satisfaction in their sex life. All that changes when Lizzy's older boss Sarah takes Lizzy on sexual journey of self-discovery and satisfaction. Lizzy realizes that Sarah is lonely for male companionship inspite of what she says otherwise. David, a fellow co-worker, is very interested in Sarah and would love to get to know Sarah better. Sarah rejects the idea but secretly admits it to herself at least. Will Lizzie's sexual journey continue? Will Sarah invite David to play? Your answers await you in Taken. Steamy book that is quite the page turner. This book definitely gets you hot under the collar if you know what I mean. I'll be honest I'm not really a fan of F/F thing usually but in this book it had it's place. I will definitely continue reading Ms. Kitt's works.

Oh for the love of everyone, people stop fussing about this being a free book that young children can see. Who, in their right mind, would let their young child go searching for books by themselves online, when the "adults" know this is a bookstore and it has EVERY type of book. It's like letting the child go search the web by themselves. Your kids won't learn anything  new here that they haven't learned in school. I am a 5th grade teacher and you would be surprised with what I hear. So yes, people, GROW UP! If you don't like what you see, MOVE ON! Stop bashing B&N and the readers who read this type of book. Again, GROW UP!
Charityg2010 More than 1 year ago
Okay people about bashing this book just because your kids supposibly seen or read it, thats your own fault. 1.) the picture to the book alone should have made your child realize it wasn't a appropriate book for him/her to read. 2.) the title to this book is "Taken (An Erotic / Erotica BDSM Menage Romance)" if they can read the book then they could have read the title. Its not B&N fault of the author's. She made it clear in her title what it was about so Stop bashing it unless you have read it and have a actual opinion about the book. I personally think it was a decent book. 3 stars.

Do you people even know what you are saying? Because I sure can't figure it out! How can you manage to read a book when most of you can't write?!?! As for you Bible thumpers, DON'T READ IT!!!! Everyone has the right to read what they choose to, and nobody wants anyone elses opinions shoved down their gullets! You know what the book is about by the title and overview, so stop acting so high and mighty and just admit you were curious and WANTED to read it!

Half of you anon's claiming to be kids seriously need to stop with this idiocy. I do admit that it would be nice if B&N organized the free collection and placed the eroticas in an adult section BUT, if you are old enough to have a Nook and if you have enough sense to search for and buy boks then you should know which books to check out and which to avoid. B&N caters to people of all ages and genre preferences. I love eroticas and have no problem with them. Some are quite fun to read but I am 18, old enough to decide which books I want to read and just because I read eroticas doesnt make me 'sick' and it definitely doesnt mean I'm going to hell if I read it (if hell even exists). Sex is a natural thing and it's not going away anytime soon at least I read it instead of going out and fornicating (sex out of marriage). Listen children some people actually check the reviews to see if the book is worth reading or not. We dont need a bunch of self-righteous kids commenting and saying the book is nasty. Its supposed to be. Its an erotica, they are notorious for nasty sex scenes which are not exactly nasty to others but pleasurable to read. If you see an erotica or something that looks like it, avoid it. Pretend you never saw it. And this whole issue about Gays and Lesbians is just ridiculous. What do you children know about G&L's? Stop being pretentious. They are people just like us. If they want to enjoy and marry a person of the same gender then that is none of your business. They arent paying any attention to you but yet you loose sleep over them. Ignore them. They just want to enjoy life and love like anyone else.

Clearly the cover leaves no misinterpretation of what the book is about. kids who have such luxury should be monitored by their parents, BN cannot parent for you that's your job. I liked this book it was fast paced and the physical connections between the 2 female characters in the book were hot so much like young love. It was a nice book no swearing or foul language and nothing got gross.

Awesome short story

If you are into the whiney, indecisive heroine, this book would be great. Give me a character that knows what she wants, goes after it, that's not this book. She is submissive to the secondary character, and to be honest, every woman likes erotica, but why do authors think there always has to be the submissive type.

This book was very entertaining and erotic too long for the story being told but i liked it...stop posting comments if u dont even read the book! Everyone has their own taste in literature so get over it! And kids u can tell by the friggin picture and synopsis this book is not meant for children u shouldnt even be posting comments regarding books like this!

Obviously not if all the reviews are soliciting sex. How old are you people...14??? First off, I am adult way older than most of you. Your using this function to "get off" is disgusting and ruins things for true, legal readers and Ms Kitt, who I happen to like. Posting false ratings and reviews affects her ability to publish and sell her work on BN and AMAZON. Second, to the "God Squad," stop playing the I didn't know card. These books have disclaimers and are pretty descriptive in their info. All you're trying to do is make reviews about voicing your beliefs. There are better and less hypocritical ways of doing this without trashing people who live and believe differently. To each his own. I have my own personal and private reasons for reading erotica as do others. Not your place to "save" our souls. Plus, the average erotic reader, like mysef, are normal. We're not on websites, buying magazines, taking pics, or watching videos. Some of us are single, those of us who have partners, read to enhance or in some cases help the sexual aspect of our relationships. We're not doing BDSM, committing sexual crimes, or going to swingers clubs. We're normal people with the normal sexuality your "God" gave us. You hypocrites don't show up preaching to those of your own who read Contemporary Romance which is 10X worse. And if you're going to criticise erotica, then don't read Greek mythology, Jane Austen, or DH Lawrence either those books have sexuality too. Anyone who agrees, post a reply, thanks.
