Overview

There are things that terrify people that they know about but the worst things in life are terrifying things they don't know about. Irena is a commercial scuba diver who lives on a small island in the Florida Keys in the early 1980s. All of the residents on the island are commercial lobstermen. The things the lobstermen see and do above the water are far different from what Irena see's and does underwater. All who live on the island are captive victims to things that lurk in the water that don't appear to be dangerous but can be.

About the Author

Veronica Kay Roser is a retired US Merchant Marine and worked on super tankers from 1980-1984. She served in the US Navy Military Sea Lift Command during the Persian Gulf War carrying jet fuel to the 10th Naval Fleet.

In 1984 she became a commercial scuba diver in the Florida Keys and worked as a salvage diver on Spanish Galleon ship wrecks. She formed the scuba diving/marine export company Conch Republic Aquatics, Inc. She did over 10,000 deep water dives in the Florida Keys.

Veronica grew up in Queen Anne’s County on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She is currently retired and lives in the Appalachian Mountains in TN. She spends her time riding her motorcycle and writing and publishing books about people, places, and events from her life.
