About the Author

Lance L. Goodwin (1950 - ) was born in the small town of Horseheads, NY. Living in a town with that name made stories a way of life; after all, can you imagine having to explain that name to other people? A prolific writer from an early age, he went on to publish numerous short stories and articles for a multitude of trade magazines. However, it was later in life that his three children prompted him to write again with the request to publish the childhood story he had always told them at night. Soon to be published on Kindle, "The Littlest Maple" brought him back to the world of writing and completion of his first four novels as well as a collection of poetry compiled over the last 40 years. Lance lives in upstate New York with his wife Christine, his dog, Chance and "one last daughter" finishing college.
