Overview

Nancy Dickenson and the 90s Club at Whisperwood Retirement Village in West Virginia head south to Fort Lauderdale on a rescue mission in The 90s Club & the Whispering Statue. This is the second book in the 90s Club series by Eileen Haavik McIntire.

Foreword Reviews calls the book “a fun read” and “a comfortable mix of nostalgia and
contemporary social commentary, wrapped up in an engaging mystery novel.”

Four attempts to murder Nancy’s long-time confidant Peter Stamboul have failed, but in the placid lifestyle of his retirement condo, who would want to kill Peter and why? Meanwhile, a worried grandmother at Whisperwood asks Nancy to find her granddaughter. adventurous young Jessica Cantwell, last heard from in Fort Lauderdale. She had taken a job as crew on a boat, but she has disappeared and the boat captain was murdered. Once again, murder and mayhem stalk Nancy and fellow 90s Club members Louise and George as they race to save Peter and Jessica’s lives and, ultimately, their own.
