Pamela S. Prevost, MS Ed.

This is Pam’s fi rst book, and a dream come true thanks to her friend and talented artist Shelby Crouse of Brunswick, ME. Ms. Prevost has 20 years of experience as an Early Childhood and Youth Development Educator. Pam has a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Leadership through Wheelock College, and is currently working on her doctorate in Literacy Education at the University of Maine. Pam lives in Topsham, ME with her husband, two grown daughters, and furry friends ~ Abby and Charlie.


Shelby Crouse was born in Mexico, Maine. Her interest in art sprouted from early childhood. Fascinated with the beauty of landscape surrounding her Western Maine home, coupled with her love and compassion for animals, was all the inspiration she needed to develop her artistic abilities. This passion inspired her to give life to a blank canvas creating mood through style and shape. Her journey as a self-taught artist unlocked the unique techniques contributing to her success. Painting is Shelby’s form of meditation. Shelby’s watercolors defi nitely refl ect her free spirit. She resides in Brunswick, Maine with husband Steve and family.
