Craig grew up in a small town about sixty miles southwest of Chicago. He attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and graduated with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. He worked as County Engineer for Grundy County, Illinois, from 1990 to 2018 and is currently employed with the Federal Highway Administration.
Craig enjoys creating fictional characters and bringing them to life in compelling adventure stories. He started writing his first novel in 2004 when an irresistible desire to write was birthed. He has published three novels, The Human Web and The Adventures of Yellow Hawk: Book 1 and Book 2 and is actively working on other projects.
He has been married to his wife, Amy, for 40 years and has two children, Bradley and Jeffrey. His other passion besides writing is bass fishing. He can be reached by email at ccass1956@comcast.net.
