I live in Orange County, California. I was adopted at three days old in Indianapolis and grew up in New Albany, Indiana. I loved my adoptive mother, who convinced me I could become anything. Since I was always fascinated with beautiful diamonds and gems, I chose to be the CEO of Gallery of Diamonds jewelers in Newport Beach.

In honor of my adoptive mother and the birth mother I have never known, I established the Why Mom Deserves a Diamond® essay contest.
