CHAPTER 1

THE DARK CONVERSION

The Dark Conversion

DJWALQUOID'S DOMICILE. HUROID CENTER. PLANET

Huroids were revolting!

Djwalquoid's eyes thrust open jolting him out of a nightmarish imprisonment. His mind picked madly through the shadowy images of Huroids in battle. He sat upright in bed and swiped his forearm across his forehead to wipe away beading sweat. He drew in a few deep breaths, and as his breath evened, he looked at Sudraquoil sleeping peacefully next to him. He recalled to memory the night before, that of love making, his fingertips sensually touching her body, the tingling sensations still fresh in his mind. His love for her brought him back to reality. But he could not help but wonder if his dream was a nightmare or a premonition. The lurid murk remained in the forefront of his mind.

Djwalquoid scooted into an upright position with his back against the wall. He propped a pillow on his lap and folded his arms across it. He suddenly felt strange. He lifted his hands and looked at them as if for the first time. What am I? He questioned. He could not categorize the emotions running through his mind because he was never able to experience them before — being Huroid. He knew what emotions were, but thought he was not able to express them as humans do. Huroids are genetically created in the lab, and he thought that his heart, being a recreation, might not be real. But suddenly he was miraculously feeling emotions as if he was born from natural parents. The shifts in consciousness were that noticeable. It was frightening, exhilarating, challenging and exciting all at the same time.

These feelings stirred in him and Sudraquoil — when Silverquoil, the mother unit of the Huroid race vanished from existence on Prison Planet 6. Did her disappearance have something to do with it? Knowing full well that Huroids are not programmed to reproduce, let alone have sexual intercourse, why were he and Sudraquoil suddenly able too? Why were the other Huroids not exemplifying more human-like characteristics like they were? Did Silverquoil grant him and Sudraquoil some form of humanity? Nevertheless, he was surely grateful to experience love; he a willing prisoner in the true weakness of it.

LABORATORY. PRISON PLANET 1

Silverquoil has been renamed the Electroda by Durriken. An earthy appearing woman of average height and a slight form, her porcelain skin highlighted her facial features: bright brown sensitive eyes, a perfect nose, and a delicate mouth. She was strapped to a high-backed chair that was erected like a great power station, electric veins sparking throughout the contraption. Her wiry straw-colored hair stood straight up from the electrical current. Her scalp was riddled with thousands of thin spiny wires, advanced florescent blue electrodes, which towered into the high ceiling and deposited into a large bulbous organic brain. Her catatonic eyes stared forward at the wall of screens televising Huroids during their daily functions.

Durriken flashed into the room commanding attention with his good looks and with those sparkling blue eyes beneath a shock of short black hair. Tall and thin, his long legged strides were darkly elegant. That antiquated cobalt-blue cape billowed behind him with its own ominous force.

Atomquoid, the curly-haired and golden-eyed Huroid trailed him like a puppy dog. The Huroid stood smugly next to his dark lord grasping a white sphere-shaped cage by its handle. It was the size of a basketball, with small circular holes cut into it, allowing air to the creature inside that pattered around.

Durriken stood there wordlessly staring at the Electroda, intimidating her with his presence. Without warning he swiftly swiped his hand over her third-eye and her mind control disk appeared from its invisible dimension. Atomquoid's appeared momentarily too.

Durriken said in a cunning voice, "My dear Electroda. Your mind control plate was the final component required for me to take complete control of you with only one component missing. You see, you were not programmed to be evil. In fact, you were programmed against it. So I have a remedy to help fix that." He continued in that annoying sarcastic voice, hatefully sweet like burnt sugar. "I enjoy our visits, short as they may be." He circled her, face close enough to warrant a threat. "Today is a bright day," he smirked. "Shall I tell you why?" He glared into her eyes that did not blink. "All right, you talked me into it. I'll tell you, not because you're forcing me too, but because I feel I owe it to you." He stood next to Atomquoid and put his arm around his shoulders, pulling him close to his body. "My dear friend here has a little present, a dose of medicine for you." He looked at the Huroid, reveling in what he was about to unleash. "Go ahead. I want you to open the Electroda's surprise. She seems to be all tied up at the moment."

Atomquoid unlatched the ball and opened it like a clamshell. He held the half-moon sphere up to her face. Staring up at her was a long stick bug with eight long legs, and a praying mantis-like face. It glowed phosphorescent blue and had creepy little bright-white eyes.

Durriken remained friendly and fiendish. "You remember this little creature from the land of Ataqua on Prison Planet 6, where we kidnapped you all those years ago and stored your molecules inside the Relay Energy Transmitter. Your son Thyron knows this female creature, too. Remember the Bluulucc Serum? It converts every thought to hate. The hallucinogens are mind altering."

Durriken put his hand in the cage and the stick bug crawled on the back of his knuckles. He stroked its long winged back and it purred frightfully. He transferred the creature to the Electroda's breast. She felt its little sticky suction cup feet leave impressions on her uniform as it crawled up her bosom. Once it reached her neck, she squirmed inside from the gluey imprints to her flesh, which felt more like dry ice burns.

With the speed of lightning, the creature leapt up on her chin and perched itself on her lower lip using its powerful antennae to force her mouth open. The stick bug gurgled; emitting a terrifying noise, as if evil was being born. A set of pinchers inside its mouth flung a glowing blue larva into the back of her throat. Durriken rubbed the Electroda's neck in long gentle strokes to ease the pill down her esophagus and into her stomach, while Atomquoid locked the stick bug back into its cage.

The hallucinogenic shot through her body rapidly, a horrifying prickling pressing against her skin more painful than shingles. Her veins engorged and she felt the cold blue light kidnap her faculties in seconds like a mutated virus. She wanted to scream out in pain, but was unable too due to her immobility. The hate that ran through her tormented her to the brink of insanity. She felt her mind lock, her thoughts now being controlled, and her prior consciousness segregated and imprisoned. Her body loaded with pressure, controlling every nerve. She struggled inwardly against it, and after a moment more passed, her soul was swallowed into the dark murkiness and left in a void of nothingness.

Durriken watched the chemicals surged through her blood vessels, turning them fluorescent-blue. They bumped out all over her skin like leprosy. Suddenly, the hallucinogenic shot up through the wires and into the brain levitating above her head, delivering hate into all the Huroid units for the final stage of mind control. Durriken pored over the live feed screens; the Huroids momentarily ceased all duties. A cold blue wash flashed across their skin. Their heads slightly jilted due to the new programming, including Atomquoid.

Durriken's eyes were wide with delight as he watched the Huroids shift to his will. His nefarious cape billowed behind him. He threw his arms to his side, as if to welcome them into his dark embrace and voiced victoriously, "I would call this a good day!"

MAIN AQUA ARENA. PLANET

In the main command center at the north axis of the mothership, Djwalquoid and his fellow Huroid officers Orbitoid and Galaxiroid stood side-by-side interfacing with a navigational board. With attentive eyes on the viewing screens revealing real-time pictures of immediate outer space, they maneuvered The Barakah Merkabah, the Overseer's 1,144 foot in diameter mothership. This technological wonder sprouts a small city of onion-shaped domes from its circular base. The men were linking up the main dome, a craft of its own, to the apex of the ultra thought-ship.

Orbitoid scowled, "Why do you think we weren't invited?"

"To what?" Galaxiroid replied.

"The big extravaganza in Paradise."

Galaxiroid shrugged his shoulders, running his hand through his short dark hair, face expelling an inquisitive look.

"All the Paradise Sons and Creator Gods and Goddesses got invites," Orbitoid announced bothered. "Everyone left this morning, including the Overseer, Goddess Atara and Zeus."

Djwalquoid added, "It's a special invitation to meet the new Paradise Son Valorr."

"Who is Valorr?" Galaxiroid asked.

"The first Paradise Son to be created since the birth of the Nebadon Universe," Djwalquoid answered.

Orbitoid was still incensed. "I don't think we were invited because we're Huroids; subordinates to those who entrap us into this slavery race." He used his body to slide Djwalquoid away from his position at the navigational station. "You're doing it all wrong," he spat with agitation. Orbitoid finished linking the main dome to perfection. He looked at Galaxiroid. "Let's go work out. I suddenly have all this pent up energy."

Galaxiroid replied, "Let's do some sparring. I need to throw some punches."

Orbitoid glanced Djwalquoid's slight frame. "You should work out you little runt."

Galaxiroid chuckled and said with insult, "I think he should work with the simulator to perfect his navigational skills."

On their departure, they pretended like they were going to punch Djwalquoid, laughing at his timid reaction and shoddy reflexes. Djwalquoid eyed them as they walked briskly walk away, noting their strange behavior. Suddenly his attention was diverted to other Huroids in the vicinity arguing. He felt a sharp pang in his stomach; something was terribly wrong. He, himself, was not feeling aggression. But why was everyone else? Sudraquoil flashed across his mind with alarm. Had she been somehow altered too?

SUDRAQUOIL'S DOMICILE. HUROID CENTER. PLANET

Djwalquoid entered to find his girlfriend humming a Huroid love song. She spun around when he entered, face beaming, and then rushed into his arms. After a sweet kiss, she said, "I've missed you."

He smiled. "I've only been gone a few hours."

"I know," she replied. "But it seems like an eternity when you're in love."

He walked her to the couch and said as they sat, "Are you feeling different? Unusual?"

Her look was quizzical. "No. Why?"

"I just came from the Main Aqua Arena. Huroids are exhibiting strange behavior."

"I don't understand?" she replied.

"So you're not feeling aggression?"

"No," she answered unequivocally. "All I feel is love for you."

Djwalquoid's brows contracted deep in thought. "I wonder why you and I are not affected."

Sudraquoil wondered too.

CHAPTER 2

THE FATE OF PANDASALA'S CLONE

The Fate of Pandasala's Clone

Overseer Bacaaralar's Huroid attendant Atomquoid betrayed his own race. Upon Atomquoid's creation, he was programmed by the Overseer with all the worst human traits. The Overseer reasoned that Atomquoid would be a reminder of dualistic worlds to the fully conscious cosmic community. Furthermore, the Galacterians in contact with Atomquoid would greatly benefit; they were able to access this two-fold consciousness, and learn how to remain understanding of it, having to interact with him daily.

The seed of Atomquoid's diabolical plans began in the Archival Arena on Sonarington Planet during the time of Thyone's cosmic baptismal, Thyron's son conceived by his Earth avatar and Kaialeena. It happened at the precise moment that Father Zeus placed a prismatic disk between the infant's brows to infuse Divine Purpose into his consciousness to increase his mind expansion beyond the cosmic norm. Atomquoid's twisted mind wandered to the endless possibilities of altering this technology for mind control.

Atomquoid had one goal; to rule over the Huroid race. But he would require a planet to hold his court; a world away from the Alignment's censors. He was well versed on Earth history, a part of his programming. He idolized the Roman Emperor Caligula, Attila the Hun and Ivan the Terrible. He stored their war tactics to memory.

It was in the Huroid Center where Atomquoid's maniacal obsession was executed with a simple push of a button. The third-eye template already between Huroid brows was converted to mind control disks. Atomquoid performed the first stage conversion while they slept in rejuvenation pods.

What Atomquoid was unaware of was that the Huroid population could no longer achieve ascension into the vast folds of the universe. Durriken would destroy their original DNA needed to ascend biologically so that their souls would be trapped and bound to him. Atomquoid's new dark lord, failed to make mention of that. But Durriken did promise him that planet he so desperately needed. Atomquoid was naive to the manipulations of this multiverse magician. His greed overshadowed his reasoning. He only had eyes on the prize, not the repercussions.

In universal broadcasts sent out to all enlightened worlds, Durriken was compared to Lucifer, only a more lethal killer, lacking even the slightest crumb of remorse. Durriken killed Lucifer's rearing parents Assarus and Moichantra to alter his foretold bright destiny. The Alignment had been looking for Durriken since that time to no success, even with their advanced tracking technologies. It was the Warlock's superior powers that aided him in escaping detection. He was always two-to-three steps ahead of even the best cosmic detectives. Now this dark deceiver, who considered himself a universal showman, was back with a new plan involving Huroids and Transhumanism. Throwing wrenches into the good of the universe was his specialty; everything was a game to him and he liked to win, enjoying the spoils of others suffering.

PRIVATE ROOM. PRISON PLANET 1. THE GHOST GALAXY

Durriken's face is clever. Beneath those deep set eyes, there was a perfectly shaped nose and a chiseled chin. The Warlock was especially fond of his pencil beard and mustache, the dark hairs against his tan-brown skin, enhanced his good looks, he thought. He knew he was a narcissist. He knew he was egotistical. And he loved that he was dangerous.

Just outside of Pandasala's clone's door, Atomquoid, alongside the Groosan Warlock sect, watched Durriken's cape rise up, and like a tornado of destruction, he spun out like a dizzying dark twister, bursting forward into the room to take form with dramatic flair.

Durriken shifted his eyes quickly around the prison cell. There were two beds, a sitting area, exposed toilet and shower, and a kitchen. With a cocked ear, he pinpointed the sound of whimpering coming from a dark corner ahead.

"Come from the shadows," Durriken ordered in an intimidating, yet calm tone. A woman and her eight year old child inched forward. "At long last I meet the famous clone of Commander Pandasala and her offspring."

Atomquoid confirmed to Durriken, "I recorded their deaths and presented it on History Coin to the Overseer. When he found their souls on the other side, he was satisfied. After they had vacated their bodies, I exchanged the Mother and boy's souls from nearly perfect matches from your treasure trove of trapped souls. Their personalities remain the same."

Muscled Huroid guards filed into the room and made their presence known.

Durriken's voice was commanding like a powerful incantation. "Come to me child."
