The Balloon of Discovery is primarily a children's book which is a fantasy story. However, during the adventures of two children (who purchase a balloon from a mysterious seller at a garden fete) they enter a world where they learn important lessons about the planet on which they live and how to protect it for the future. Children, Parents and Teachers will find this short book easy to read, but it also carries with it an important educational message.

Steve Sheridan is a new author to the writing scene although he has a long standing interest in the world of literature and has written poetry, some of which has been published locally. He lives in the city of Chester. This is his first 'childrens' book'.
