About the Author

After a Batchelor's Degree in Fine Arts, with a minor in psychology from Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles, CA in 1968, (now Calif. Inst. of the Arts, Sylmar, CA) I was drafted and spent 2 years in the military. A few years after returning home, my wife & I opened a computer graphics company in Lawndale, CA. We thrived. Though always interested in writing, my literary interests were put aside by business demands, until retiring in 1996. In 2010, I was serendipitously commissioned to illustrate a children's card game & two kid's books by a new company. This re-ignited my desires to combine my writing & caricature skills to publish children's books of my own. It was the perfect culmination of timing & the synergy of friendship. My new friend reinvigorated my dreams of authorship. I wrote & illustrated my first book in 2012, then another in December, 2013. Two more were published Dec, 2014 & June, 2015. I just completed my best so far, August 2015 is a preorder eBook. I have now authored & illustrated 5 animal tales & Illustrated a fellow author's 2 kiddy books & designed his children's card game art. I promise many more children's objects of entertainment & animal stories..
