These are so good! I've read them all the way through three times. The worldbuilding is just spectacular, the characters are intriguing, and the plots are satisfying and hold together well. Terrific books!

Only 100 pages in... Already I am hooked on this story. Flying creatures who can also assume human form. Flying islands... Refreshing names of characters... Survival... Growing up... Love...Enemies... AWESOME READING Well Done! I am quite stingy with my 5 stars, but I am awed!

Really an excellent read and I must truly believe that as I had already read the books when they first came out and now I have ordered and re-read the trilogy package. Love Martha Wells. Thank you B&N for having her.

Finally a series that is not about vampires, werewolves or fairies. This is wholly original not some hackneyed regurgitation of Twilight. This is science fiction as I remember it when I read Dune, The Belgariad, Xenogenesis and other great works of science fiction. Please keep up the good work and please write many more stories of the Raksura (for example Stone's story) I strongly recommend it to anyone who loves a good story.
