About the Author

Jim Sladack is a retired US Army lieutenant colonel with 38 years of active and reserve duty, including service as an infantry officer, paratrooper and a Green Beret. He served seven years as adjunct faculty at the US Army Command&General Staff College. He has decades of training with various martial arts, military tactics and weapons. For years, he volunteered as a part-time EMT on the “second busiest ambulance squad” in New Jersey. Jim lives in Orange, California with his wife Nancy and their Gordon Setter, Cerberus.
