Overview

Mandy and Katy are excited that Christmas is coming and the start of their festive preparation is decorating the Christmas tree. Other Christmas activities follow such as gathering and delivering holly to a neighbour, shopping for a special present, and singing Carols with the villagers. This is a happy family time running up to the special day, interwoven with normal day to day events. However, unbeknown to them there are mysterious happenings on the Christmas tree at night when Father Christmas and his friends get up to all kinds of mischief...........

About the Author

The Christmas Tree is the author's first novel. Inspiration came from their own family Christmas tree, as well as her childhood and the activities that happen before Christmas which make the whole season full of anticipation and fun. She is married with three grown up children and numerous pets including a West Highland White Terrier who features in the book. She lives in the Cotswolds near the well known town of Burford. The author previously worked as a Human Resources manager for a number of organisations and is currently a self employed HR consultant.
