About the Author

USA Today best selling author Lorana Hoopes is the author of both Christian romances and Children's early readers. She is originally from Texas but now lives in the PNW with her husband and three kids. Many of her books are set in Texas, close to her roots, and her Wishing Stone books are based on her three children.

Her Wishing Stone books have been picked up by several schools and used as a summer reading book. They employ a glossary of challenging words and a resource list at the end so children can do additional research. She will be adding a Christian line to the Wishing Stone series soon.

Her first series, The Heartbeats series, focuses on the sanctity of life. Though romances, they aren't your traditional romances and lean close to Women's Fiction. This series includes Where It All Began, The Power of Prayer, When Hearts Collide, and A Past Forgiven.

Then she has her Star Lake series inspired by her love of the small town life. Full of quirky characters, they are books you will enjoy again and again. When Love Returns, Once Upon a Star, and Love Conquers All are the current books in the series, but Lorana has plans to return to Star Lake soon and give Trudy her story.

Lorana also joined with other authors to write in the Lawkeepers series. She has four books in the series along with a spin off in her Sage Creek series. The historical books are Lawfully Matched, Lawfully Justified, and the Scarlet Wedding. The contemporary books are Lawfully Redeemed and Lawfully Pursued.

Lorana also has four books currently in her Sweet Billionaires series with a fifth on the way. The Billionaire's Secret, Brush with a Billionaire, The Billionaire's Christmas Miracle, and The Billionaire's Cowboy Groom are the current books. The Cowboy Billionaire will be coming soon!

I thoroughly enjoyed The Cowboy Billionaire. I fell in Love with Soda Springs, Hunter, Daisy, Fanny and Cody. These are great characters. It was awesome to watch Hunter grow into the man his father wanted him to become. The path of love is never without its bumps, but faith and a determination to fight for what you want help a great deal. If you are looking for a clean romance, try this one. It does not disappoint.

I loved this Christian clean romance between Daisy and Hunter. I liked the characters and the way it shows how God answers prayers. Daisy is a widow who is trying to keep her home and ranch and the few workers she has left from going under. She keeps getting letters to sell her property to a company who has already bought all the property around her from her neighbors. The ranch is the only thing she has to keep her husband's legacy alive.

I have not read the other books in this series, but I do own a couple of the others. I am looking forward to reading them and wish I had them all. I love Ms. Hoopes' writing and have listened to quite a number of her audio books. This book did not disappoint. It makes me thankful there are authors who still write with no inappropriate language or content.
