About the Author

Mike Dupont holds a Geology Technician Diploma, is a Master of Photographic Arts, an accomplished yacht captain, and a helicopter pilot. Currently working in the mines of Nunavik in the far north and still active with photography assignments, he appreciates spending a few months with his wife in the tropics every winter. The rest of the time, they’re either cruising on Lake Huron or living in Sudbury, Ontario, with their children and grandchildren close by.
