Overview

A $1 million Eastern Air Line propeller plane with 84 people on board exploded suddenly approximately five minutes after takeoff on February 8, 1965. The causes of the crash involved an incoming Pan American World Airways Boeing 707 as well as scientific principles used regularly among those who fly aircraft. These include spatial perception, spatial separation, and depth perception. My e-book considers the more technical aspects of what caused Flight 663 to fall from the sky almost vertically into the calm waters of the Atlantic Ocean off of Jones Beach, New York.
