The Curse of the Summer Solstice

A seventy-year old diary, magic spells gone wrong, witches, wizards and a cat with an attitude. All come together at a small family farm in rural Pennsylvania. Samantha’s boring summer vacation turns into a mysterious magical adventure.
Samantha a girl, born and raised in the city of Philadelphia, finds herself spending her entire summer vacation on her grandparent’s farm.
As Samantha tells it there just isn’t much on a farm that is of interest to a city girl; that is until she finds a seventy year old diary in the attic. The quiet boring summer vacation at the farm is turned upside down. While reading the diary Samantha finds a letter written by a young girl, not all that remarkable except for the fact that it is addressed to her and itis seventy years old.
Seventy years ago a witch, cast a spell that went very wrong trapping herself and three others in a Neather World, through letters that just seem to appear the witch enlists Samantha’s help in casting the spell that will get her back to the Natural World.
Another witch has been trying for the past seventy years to free her daughter and her two Aunts from the spell cast by this witch but to no avail. She thinks she has the counter spell to return her daughter and Aunts from the Neather World, but she must complete the spell before the sun reaches its highest point during the Summer Solstice or she must wait another year.
As if this wasn’t enough a wizard is deep in a mystery of his own, and although he doesn’t know it he to needs Samantha’s help. How can a young girl unravel this mystery before the sun is at its highest point during the Summer Solstice, something that a witch could not do in seventy years? All of these problems are connected; Samantha just needs to figure out how. How can Samantha help break these spells; she isn’t a witch, is she? The cat seems to think so.
