She finds him heading south from No. Carolina! A few days later, "Boss! I'm here in Key West! He's here. I just sent some notes and pics on email. I'm going to dinner right now. Call me in an hour; we'll talk."
Alan calls and calls; no answer. He books an early morning flight, bound for Key West.
