The Devil's Pods
In 1755, Bulk Horsewell climbs up to the top of Pitch Fork Mountain where he discovers a one of a kind, beautiful plant flourishing inside a cave. The pods of this mysterious plant contain remarkable healing powers, but also create extreme sexual hallucinations in its users.
Little does Bulk know as he introduces the pods to the valley people that he seals their fate forever. Sorely tempted and falling prey to the pod's allure several valley people commit suicide before Bulk realizes that the plant in reality is the embodiment of Satan's Angel who was cast out of heaven. Isolated and backward, the people of Pitchfork Mountain are the perfect specimens to do Satan's work.
Two hundred and fifty-four years later, Cotton Stencil and his family move to the remote little valley. His beautiful wife Erica becomes another victim of the enticing pods and Cotton must move heaven and earth to save her and destroy the Devil's plant once and for all.
