About the Author

Mystery writer, Annegret Werner Shaw, was born and raised in Germany but moved to the United States on her twentieth birthday. An accomplished writer with over seven published works of fiction to her credit, Shaw crafts remarkable stories that captivate her reader with her disturbing and complex plots and detailed character development.

In her first series of murder mysteries, “Any Given Night,” “Any Given Day” and “Any Given Choice,” the writer drew from her experience as an owner and operator of an assisted living facility and Alzheimer’s Unit that she ran with her husband for fifteen years.

Shaw extensively researches each book and often travels to exotic locations for the material she writes about. Blending history with fiction, Shaw is masterful in her ability to keep her reader engaged yet unsettled.

The author lives with her husband, Jimmy, in Texas.
