I’m an amatuer writer living in Leesburg, VA. After years of writing screenplays, I’ve finally comes to my senses and started writing other types of fiction. My primary interests include science fiction, historical fiction and mysteries.
I have a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from the Virginia Military Institute (Class of ’93), and a degree in Biology from the University of Cincinnati, where I specialized in freshwater river ecology (limnology).
During college, I placed third for the Dell/Isaac Asimov Award for undergraduate science fiction. More recently, I was a winner of the Writers of the Future contest in the fourth quarter of 2010. My short story, “Medic!“ will appear in L. Ron Hubbard presents Writers of the Future, Volume XXVII.
I currently work as a project manager at the US Department of State.
