About the Author

Arturo Féliz-Camilo was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is a traditional cook who comes from one of the oldest traditional families in the land. He has been researching traditional Dominican cooking for over 2 decades.
He currently manages two of the most popular Dominican Food blogs (El Fogoncito in Spanish and Dominican Heat in English) In 2012 he started his traditional recipes book collection with "Las recetas de Mamá Pura". ("Mama Pura's) recipes.
