About the Author

I began writing when I was much younger. I’ve progressed since those early days but until recently, had allowed writing to languish in favor of what I considered more financially attractive pursuits.

On one hand, my deferral strikes me in retrospect as a poor choice, a neglect of something precious. From a different perspective, those years, so many of which were filled with sorrows of various kinds, immeasurably contribute to both what I write and the meaningfulness of these writings. I now write full time.

I have lived in various parts of upstate New York my entire life, mostly in the region known as The Finger Lakes, with Corning being my present home. No small part of my heart, however, belongs to the Adirondacks, a portion of New York that is as different from New York’s biggest cities as day is from night.
