The Gods of Chaos Books Books 1-3

A minstrel and an ex-priest battle to survive in a world full of monsters. At least they have each other's backs, right? Well….

Cantor has talents; he's a minstrel, a high end thief, and a middling magic user. Robin, on the other hand, isn't sure what she is anymore — her world's been turned upside down by odd, unwelcome magic that rips her out of her old life and throws her and Cantor together.

Who, or what, is responsible? Ivernia is riddled with chaos magic; any mythical creature, god or demon ever imagined by man could crawl from the darkness. But just because it's all driven by chaos doesn't mean there are no rules; surely those who created the world have it under control.

Maybe not. And strangely enough, when things fall apart, they need human helpers to do their dirty work. Cantor and Robin, working together as minstrels, occasional thieves, sort of heroes, get the call. They're not averse to the idea; a little adventure, a little music, maybe a little cash, are all good things.

Of course, it would go much smoother if they'd first take a moment to figure out their own relationship. But that's apparently not so easy.

Join Cantor and Robin as they navigate a world filled with magic, mythical creatures, and uncertain rules - and maybe, just maybe, work out what they mean to each other along the way.

Sword and sorcery action and adventure, found family, a trickster goddess and her dragon shifter, tied up with splashes of (very) slow burn romance and humor.

What do readers say?

"I finished (Rogue God) in one day."

"This book had me hooked by the first chapter."

"The banter was simply deliciously humorous, the characters were unlike any I've met before. I mean, come on, a selfish minstrel, an obviously "faulty" Angel, a Pixie who's a snitch, a goddess and her dragon/human."

"I have always loved mythology, and this book did not disappoint on that front. From centaurs to pixies, man wolves and dragons; there is something in this book for everyone and I highly recommend."

These books were composed by a human being, not AI.

About the Author

I write fantasy books that are neither steamy nor very stabby, certainly not explicit in either subject. It's aimed at an adult audience, with adult themes, and I include LGBTQ characters.

I believe that the power of creativity is magic; it influences the emotions of readers, listeners, and viewers. I promise to weave that magic into everything I create. Accompanied of course by some adventure, a bit of romance, and a touch of humor.

I live in the Greater Vancouver area on Canada's west coast, and I'm happily married with three wonderful daughters. After spending many years working in Information Technology, I retired into my creative pursuits, writing fantasy novels, playing guitar and composing music.
