About the Author

M. E. Nesser, co-owner of the Mark & M.E. Beauty Salon with her husband Mark, draws her inspiration from her dedication to making women feel confident and sexy. She earned a bachelor's degree in sociology, a master's degree in education, and a New York State cosmetology license. She is the mother of three grown children and author of The Happy Hoo-Ha Trilogy, a collection of humorous nonfiction books about her career as a Brazilian wax technician. She has also written a sexy romance series entitled A Promise of Passion.

I read the first one and couldn't put it down. Would not have thought that the "hen house" could be funnier than the "hoo ha" and hands down had me laughing even harder. Read it in two hours, a can't put down book! My boyfriend kept looking at me as if I was crazy because I would just burst out laughing (and I mean the kind that comes rolling out from your toes!) I am afraid that I am going to have to wear a depends if she comes out with another one! A MUST READ!

This has to be one of the funniest books I have ever read, besides her first book >the Happy Hoo-Ha This is look behind closed doors, all the screams & laughs! M.E has the gift of gab & the reading is fast & easy just as if she was telling the stories over a cup of coffee!
Do yourself a favor & read this book! Now I am looking forward to the third book she is working on as we speak! As a guy the bits about men are some of the best!

I have been a customer of M. E. and had to purchase the first book The Happy Hoo Hah for my husband. When I finally got the book from him I just died from laughter. When the Happy Hen House came out, we just had to buy it. Another weekend passed with my nose in the book... I laughed so hard that I peed my pants. Mary Elizabeth is a hilarious story teller and makes all of us wonder how clean is our hoo hah. Great summer beach read. Can't wait for the next one!

Okay, so you're getting a freaking Brazilian wax. It's a bit un-nerving and embarrassing and scary (and painful) and you end up LAUGHING through the ENTIRE thing! Now you get to relive all the funny moments (without the pain of the actual wax)! M.E. has a great way with words. This book is funny and entertaining, and raw. You won't want to put it down until you've read it cover to cover.
