Overview

Callie had all but given up on men. She’d had one failed relationship after another and the last one had left her disillusioned with the idea of finding her one true love. Years ago her mother had told her that she would find someone and there would be that ‘spark’ and she’d know that person was the one for her. Maybe all the ‘sparks’ were gone and she’d never find her special someone. She’d resigned herself to concentrating on her work and her brothers, most of all Mark. He needed her the most.

Gabe was miserable and cranky, cranky all the time. The last year had been hard but the months ahead would be harder, especially if he couldn’t snap out of the funk he was in. He’d shut out his family and friends. Soon he’d have no one left. He didn’t like the person he’d become. It wasn’t him. He needed to find a way back to the person he once was. Could Callie be the one to help him? Could Callie turn him around and make him whole again?

About the Author

Vicki was born in Orange, NSW. When she was two years old her family moved to Dapto, a southern suburb of Wollongong. She was kicked out of pre-school at the age of four (for reasons that she will keep to herself).  

When she was sixteen she moved with her parents and two sisters (Vicki is the typically misunderstood middle child) to the ACT where, ironically she studied Child Care so she could work in a pre-school.
Now, at the age of 45 she still lives in Canberra with her husband and three adult/teenage children.  

Vicki works full time (not in the child care industry!) and is an avid baker. She spends her time taxiing her kids around and baking cup cakes for all the kids who constantly fill the house.   

Vicki has always enjoyed writing and is now taking the time to put her stories to print.
