About the Author

Carla Blake is a well-known gardener, food writer and journalist. She has a weekly column in The Irish Examiner and enjoys life to the full: her family, friends, dogs, writing and community, and grows her own vegetables. She is an advocate of fresh, locally produced food, and believes that preparing and enjoying food with others is one of the most fulfilling aspects of life. Her spectacular garden features in the OBrien Guide to Irish Gardens, and has raised thousands for charity over the years.
