The Last Command

Book ten of The Starman Saga.

"This is David Foster, I've reached the surface of Luxa."

"I can see the Xenobot city from here."

"The air is polluted and the light is foul."

"Several warships have lifted off and are headed this way."

"The full force of Xenobots will be on us in moments!"

LUXA UNDER SIEGE

The Xenobots have been pushed back to their home planet. Cut off from their galactic network and confined to the resources of a single planetary system, the enemy has withdrawn into isolation and concealment. Under cover of the siege, they bend alien technology to their will. Defeat is far from certain.

The Solar Alliance commits the entirety of their war machine to the task of keeping the Xenobots imprisoned and slowly pushing them into a forced retreat. The problem is they've stopped retreating. The Solar Alliance desperately needs to find out what the Adversary is planning - a spy mission from which the Starmen are not expected to return!

This is the future, the way it used to be.

About the Author

Michael D. Cooper is the pseudonym for Michael (Mike) Dodd, David Baumann, and Jon Cooper, each of whom played a vital role in creating the Starman series. Although each member contributed in different ways, no story was presented to the public until all three team members were in full agreement.

David Baumann

David Baumann is a retired Episcopal priest, who follows the high Anglican tradition. He has also been a martial arts instructor and a free-lance writer.

Jon Cooper

Jon Cooper is a computer programmer. Jon has visited nineteen foreign countries and lived in three, including a stay of several months in a thousand-year-old former monastery on an island in the Saone River in France.

Mike Dodd

Mike Dodd is a social worker and zeppelin builder. His wedding ring is made out of a moon rock, and he owns an authenticated piece of Mars, for which he paid $100.
