About the Author

Silas was born and raised in Nigeria; he attended the University of Jos for two years before moving over to the United Kingdom to study for his A level and undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. During that time, he immersed himself in serving Christ as a worker, worship leader, and worship director with his local church. His tireless and relentless service in the “small” paved the way for his contribution as worship leader with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), UK central office—a nonprofit based church organization with branches in more than 120 nations of the world. His unwavering dedication to Christ, expressed in his worship has opened doors to ministry across nations and continents.

As a worship director in the RCCG UK, Silas is an astute voice instructor, music director, and worship leader who brings a meticulous and detailed dimension to the teaching, learning, and delivery of songs. His penchant for corporate prayers and corporate worship is a visible trait often admired by many. Silas also serves as vice president of the Pastors’ and Ministers’ Seed Family UK—a fellowship for children of pastors and ministers.

His first published book, The Last Time You Sang to Me’, throws light to a compendium of his rich and practical experience in the worship ministry.

Silas holds a bachelor of arts degree in international relations and English and a master of arts degree in global affairs and diplomacy from the University of Buckingham and finds his niche working as a training consultant and music instructor for start-up choirs and worship teams in the RCCG.
