About the Author

Chris Dale was born in January 1954 in Lima, Peru. He came to the UK in 1964 for a private school education, spent five years at Dean Close School in Cheltenham, and finished his education in France. He built his life skill experience’s through a varied career in aviation, the travel business, and then in brand management in the food & brewery markets through the retail food industry. In 2004 he set up his own Management Consultancy business working in these markets specialising in launching and managing several different brand products. At the same time, as an aviation nut and a private pilot himself, he set up The POM Flying Club at Humberside Airport, which he still owns and runs today.
In July 2014 Chris suffered a major stroke which forced an early semi-retirement from the business world, and a total change of direction. The upside of the stroke has created his joy of writing his books, with many more to come.
He now spends his time writing and managing his books as an indie author; managing his beloved flying school as a hobby, and does some voluntary work locally.
