K evin Phizer, an adolescent drug addict, convinces his two closest friends, Amanda and Richard, to join him on a camping trip to the woods of Eswell. The trip, which according to Kevin is meant to be a journey of self-reflection, quickly turns out to be something else entirely. Unbeknownst to Amanda and Richard, a fourth camper is expected to join them—someone known only to Kevin as the man in the woods.
