About the Author

I am a teacher who is actively involved in children's ministry at church, and although I have been a christian all my life, I only recently realized that the pain Jesus experienced on the cross was not just from getting his hands and feet nailed but from the sin weighing on his heart-bursting it-when the heart is the most resilient part of the body that doesn't even get cancer. I have lived and taught in different parts of the country and wanted to shard my eye-opening realization-as well as his unfathomable love- with children as I from time to time wondered as a child how getting your body nailed could be the worst pain possible although I was always mesmerized by and thankful for the beauty of Jesus's love and sacrifice for all humanity,
