The [New] New Patriotism
"The [New] New Patriotism" takes the reader on a journey of American history, circumstance, and perspective. Stunning events of early 2020 provide context for an American culture that has required redirection for decades. Our society is slowly abdicating liberty to the very outlets promoting fear and division. Explore the dark truths of racism Americans have struggled with for centuries and how the demographic of a bold generation is insisting on social reforms, redefining American culture, and a new patriotism. Jennifer Blackburn champions a remarkable country built on liberty and democracy. Her writing is a sobering reminder that change is constant, and history repeats itself as the world watches a communist superpower systematically repeat a history witnessed in Europe during the 1930s.

About the Author

Jennifer Blackburn was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes, NJ and earned her degree in English and Writing from Ithaca College in New York State. Jennifer spent time studying abroad in 1980s London, England where she fell in love with history and art.

A life-long learner and information junkie, Jennifer continued to hone her writing skills while raising children as a single mom and shifting career direction to work for a Fortune Eight company as a mid-level manager. Jennifer and her husband Jeff, live in Richmond, VA, and Sarasota, FL. They share six children who are beginning their new chapters as fabulous adults.

"The [New] New Patriotism" is Jennifer's debut book on a timely subject in need of a perspective from an "every person" rather than those in positions of power.
