surprisingly honest and touching account of a trans girl surviving through sex work in Seattle. With excerpts published in Eisner nominated anthology ISLAND,
the full colour volume, drawn and painted by Remy Boydell is an unflinching debut graphic novel. Written by Michelle Perez
Most Helpful Customer Reviews
Transgender meets all sorts of problems – not for everyone – explicit and interesting A transgender person tries to muddle their way through life, encountering difficulties along the way and having to examine their lifestyle. Fairly depressing, it includes depictions of many sexual acts which some could find disturbing or alarming. Same-sex relationships, prostitution etc.. all feature so please do not bother with this if you are easily shocked or offended. The artwork is simple yet effective without being shocking. Quite good and innovative but not necessarily of much interest to me.
