We lost our lands,
To unseen hands,
To never know again,
The life, the love,
Of one another,
The Earth, the hunt,
Our soul, our Mother.
Only now, empty man,
We wash ourselves,
In ancestor's blood,
No way back,
But now to die,
In the white man's flood,
And to be buried,
In snow and mud.
