It's not gambling in Las Vegas when you know which horse will win the Kentucky Derby or which team will take the World Series. An unforeseen chain of events involving a secret time portal located behind a large resort on the Vegas strip leaves Michael alone and trapped in 1986. Recognizing the incredible possibilities of knowing the future, he buys a red spiral notebook to record his memories of events to come.
