THE RESURRECTION: the immortality of the body

Death-for most people-is an event that should - alas- not be discussed, showing too often embarrassment toward this taboo subject, while the resurrection will be -later-the next and final step for all of us. Even though the topic is extensive, Christianity offers a unique picture of it. Suffice to mention the Christian Creed - first adopted in 325 A.D. in the time of Emperor Constantine - the end of which states... I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen!

In these few words expressed in this Creed, everything is said, resurrection and eternal life included. Therefore, how could so many people still be afraid of death, when Jesus-Christ offers immortality to anybody willing to follow his precepts? This is what the author, Gilles Charles Vuille, is willing to communicate, sharing his in-depth knowledge on the subject.

About the Author

The author, Gilles Charles Vuille, was born in 1943, in Geneva, Switzerland. His career has spanned almost 50 years in advisory services, four of them spent outside of his native Switzerland (in Cologne,Germany and New York, USA). In 1974 a remarkable event occured in his life. Without realizing it, and despite himself, he fell into God's net. Being curious by nature, he tried to understand what had happened. And so, in parallel with his professional activities he studied, researched, and read extensively. In 2004 he decided to fully dedicate his time to his religious education and spend two years in theological culture seminars. In 2015 first, and once more in 2019, he picked up his pen to write A Finger on The Light, ed. Statton Press Publishing, Wilminton,DE,USA -as an answer- a counterpoint to Richard Dawkin's horrifying book The God Delusion. A sort of battle of words, Gilles Charles Vuille expressing - among other themes - mystical experiences made by believers. A fruitful eye-opener.
