This book was a little too strange and disjointed for my taste. Hardly anything really happens in it; it's all just one big internal conflict/moral dillema for Rachel. It didn't really cover any new ground, either, just the same old woes about whether she's becoming too violent. I was also confused by where it ended. I was expecting more of a conclusion. Maybe the author's point was that there is no right answer? I don't know. What I do know is that I didn't enjoy it as much as others in the series.

Look at the title at! IT is so weird! Rachel morphs like a psycho-mutant-X-men Wolverine-six pack stomach dude! IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO WEIRD! But the book is good too

This book is supposedly fairly good. David comes back, seeking revenge against the animorphs, the people who turned him into the person, er.. Rat..he is today. It also goes deeper into the Rachel\Crayak relationship.

#48 sees the return of two characters, David and Crayak. Yes, David (the rat) is back and with a vengence for Rachel (who narrates the book). This will be an excellent book!!
