About the Author

Elisabeth Kidd discovered the novels of Georgette Heyer while living in London shortly after graduating from Mills College with a B.A. in Spanish. It was the prefect location to do research into the Regency, but her first attempt at an historical romance was set in Spain-and quickly rejected by some of the most notable publishers in England. It was later revised and published, but by that time four of her seven Regency romances (to date) were in print. The author has also published short stories, newspaper features, and travel articles. She currently freelances as a copy editor and writing instructor.
