About the Author

J. S. Moses lives in Vermont with his wife and kids. An artist at heart, the author produced all of the artwork for the cover and within the novel itself. His other interests include bladed weapons (especially the katana) and an encyclopedic knowledge of actors and actresses and their various and often obscure roles. A self proclaimed geek, the author collects action figures and movie memorabilia including a replica of the Greatest American Hero's cape and a VHS of the Star Wars Christmas special.

The Rod of Astogoth is the first novel in a series by the author. Inspired by his love of fantasy, and RPGs, the story originally was envisioned as a graphic novel, but evolved into a novel when the artistic process proved too time consuming and cumbersome for such a sprawling tale.

The stories to follow will revisit the characters from this first and introduce many others. The author hopes that you will come to know and love them as he does and welcomes any and all fan input on future adventures.
