Overview

In this tale of vengeance, the wife of a federal appeals court judge is murdered. The FBI conducts a cursory investigation, and then mysteriously closes its file. Flavored with American-Italian family relationships, the characters move through a web of deceit and determination to unravel a dark conspiracy centered around an occult society and a ruse that reaches into the Oval Office, The author merges his knowledge of the law's complexity and majesty with the murkiness of power politics to construct a whodunit set in the triangle of Western Pennsylvania, idyllic Sicily, and labyrinthine Washington.

About the Author

Francis Caiazza was born into an Italian-American family that immigrated to Western Pennsylvania from a small town near Naples, Italy––Riardo in the province of Caserta. For fifteen years he practiced law in New Castle, PA. His last official act as a lawyer was to argue a case before the United States Supreme Court that involved an Amishman's right to freely practice his religion. The following day he was elected a state trial judge. In 1994 he was appointed to the federal bench. The Rosecross is his debut novel––a story that weaves together murder, an occult society, and a ruse that reaches into the Oval Office.
