About the Author

Manuel Sánchez (1967) has been a lover of classical culture and literature since childhood. A voracious reader and writer, he is the author of novels; Alma Luna [Soul Moon], Navegantes [Navigators], La Crisálida [The Cocoon], Las rutas del deseo [Desire Ways], Ultima Thule [Ultima Thule], Bucaneros de estrellas [Buccaneers of the Stars], El árbol de arena [The Sand Tree], La rosa de nieve [The Snow Rose] and Ojos de Mar [Sea Eyes]. As well as a book of short stories, Cajón de sastre [Catch-all Drawer], and a book of poetic thoughts, El viento del sureste [The Southeast Wind]. His works are available in English, French and Spanish editions including ebook, paperback and audiobook formats. He is currently working on a new literary project.

 

Manuel is a Computer Science Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and MBA from IE (Instituto de Empresa). He is a member of the writers associations AEM (Association of Writers of Madrid), AEMCLM (Association of Writers of Castilla La Mancha), Quijote and CEDRO. He has complemented his training with the development of courses in literary creation and classical art at different universities; Escuela de Escritores (Madrid), Universidad de los Andes (Colombia), Wesleyan University (US) and Yale University (US). A tireless traveler, as a globetrotter, he has visited more than fitty countries and maintains an active presence on social media.
