I saw every twist coming a mile off, but I still enjoyed the ride. Another review called the book homophobic, it isn't at all.

HIGHLY Recommend!! FINALLY a fast-paced, epic high fantasy! Seriously one of the best books i've read in a long time. Its a Game of Thrones meets the Bachelor!

My only issue with The Savior's Champion is how to properly categorize it. Its listed genre is fantasy. You get that. But you could also call this a romance, a mystery, a thriller, a comedy an adventure...any of those would work if preceded with "really awesome". I loved this book. Not because it was written by one of my favorite youtubers and my only favorite cyborg, but because it was really, honestly good. I never found myself waning, distracted, bored. Rather than being fast-paced, TSC was perfectly-paced. I never felt like I had to catch up, or that things moved too fast for proper processing. The world-building was exactly as detailed as it needed to be. Not too much but just enough to know where I was. I got to know the characters I needed to know. A lot of authors with a cast this large would make the mistake of delving too deep into each character, which tends to bog stories down. I knew the characters that I needed to know, and that Jenna Moreci was able to make that distinction is a brilliance writers often miss. Quick shout out to her editor, Sasha Knight. This book was flawlessly edited. And I was LOOKING for mistakes because I'm a writer and looking for editorial mistakes is my curse. Good job, Sasha. I don't leave reviews for books I don't like or DNF, so you know this is for realsies. And now I have to wait for The Savior's Sister. Hurry up and write, Jenna.

This book is so damn amazing. It's full of twists and turns. Its beautifully written. The author, the beautiful Jenna Moreci, has created a wonderful piece of art. Its fully of equality, and opportunity, and surprises. And there's healthy relationship! Yes really! Everyone should read this book. It is damn amazing.

I am in love with this story and can not wait for the next installment. Its everything I want in a story and everything I didn't know I wanted all rolled into one.

So I decided to write a book and in doing research I stumbled upon Jenna's AuthorTube (YouTube) page. I binge watched her videos for like a month and I learned a wealth of information about writing. This made me feel obligated to buy this book in return for the wealth of information I learned from her. I knew nothing about it and I didn't read any reviews about it. Let me say this; once I picked it up I literally could not put it down! I read it in like a week and half. It was incredible and it read like a movie. The characters were amazing and it was action packed! I never thought I was a fan of romance but she found the perfect balance between romance and action and I found myself loving the romance as much as the action. I knew she had me when I was feeling a little unsettled when the love interested had a heated argument. This is a top tier book and I could see this as a movie some day.

Loving, struggling, not perfect proragonist and strong, bada** female character. I could not put this book down! I needed to finish it, but I didn't want it to end so fast! It will make you keep wanting to turn the page needing to know what happens next!

Amazing. A true, and HEALTHY, love story. All the while set in a dark and enchanting world.

A great quick paced read. Fantasy, romance fights.

Loved this book. It was everything I look for in a novel: excitement, romance, twists, red herrings. But Jenna.... Will there be a sequel?

Beautifully written. Amazing characters. Tension, gore, a little bit of the sexy (not enough for me personally, but put together nicely). THE ENDING!!!!!! OMG the ending. I seriously need more of this.

THE SAVIOR'S CHAMPION by Author-tube sensation, Jenna Moreci, lives up to the hype. I've been following Jenna for some time and have been intrigued by the story of Tobias and the Savior's Tournament. Right from the start, I pre-ordered this book and was immediately sent the first five chapters. I read them in one sitting and was hooked. In this dangerous tournament, twenty men compete to the death until one man stands as the Savior's Champion, the prize being the Savior herself. We follow Tobias, a commoner with a crippled sister, who is just trying to do right by his family and survive. By entering the tournament, he knows his family will be taken care of, as long as he survives the challenges. And what challenges they are! Moreci makes these characters suffer in the most ingenious (and deadly) situations, each of them more horrific than the previous. As intriguing as the actual Tournament is, there's more behind the scenes than what meets the eye. Along with a forbidden romance and a sprinkle of magic, THE SAVIOR'S CHAMPION is one of the best and unique books I've read in years. I am hooked on the series and am dying for the next one.

At first I thought this was going to be a 3/5 star book. Mediocre overall, some good moments (one fight scene had my attention) and some terrible moments. But there are two moments that I felt were homophobic to two gay male characters as well as the love interest turned into a mess and extending tension needlessly. There is too much cursing. Curse words are used unimaginatively and lost their punch by the 5th chapter. Please do not buy.

Jenna Moreci is wonderful but this book is nothing exceptional.
