This is a mystery mini-novel of 161 pages about a young mid-western journalist, who wants to be a big time author and news reporter. Tim Riley is pulled into the center of a series of brutal murders, and meets the love of his life Mary MacDowell. Mary is supposedly an NSA agent working violent crime scenes, and has somewhat of an erratic lifestyle, continually popping in and out of Tim's life. As Tim moves from small town Indiana to the Big Apple, murder and mayhem seem to follow him. Mary and Tim become sexually involved, and together try to solve a series of violent murders.

Richard A. Heyman is an internationally known, award winning poet who has moved into the role of author and publisher, having now published over twelve novel, mini-novels of various genre.
