My husband, at the age of 59-1/2, had a triple bypass, in May, 2014. I ordered this book to learn about heart health. Fantastic book. Easy-to-understand words. Very educational! After seeing what my husband went through, I now am very heart-health conscious. Dr. Crandall seems like a very nice man, with a good heart -- in more ways than one! I haven't had red meat since my husband's procedure. I was already a health-conscious eater; now, more so! Thank you, Dr. Crandall, for writing this book and helping countless other people with your knowledge!
As an RN with diabetes and cardiac disease I find myself better at caring for others than caring for myself. The information is spot on and just what I need to refocus myself.
