About the Author

E. L. Ashbrook was born in 1969 in Toronto, Ontario and has not yet died. In between these events, she lives in Alberta, Canada where she writes, dances, and holds a day job. Her blog, Snakedancing, has helped hundreds of people with Asperger's Syndrome to understand themselves and their loved ones. Her other blog, The Mind Palace, offers memory tricks, thinking skills, and study techniques. She is a founding faculty member of Quirky U, an online web resource offering support to neuro-divergent people, and has presented before the University of Calgary Student Services department and the Calgary City Police. She is married and likes cats.

Her series, The Snakedancing Guides, offer practical solutions to common life skills issues in a pragmatic but light-hearted format.
