The Soundpost in the Violin
This book dispels the mystery that the position of the sound post in determining the sound quality of the violin is critical. Placed outside the treble foot of the bridge, it lifts the output of the lower strings, making the sound even across the range and optimizes the breathing action of the violin body for sound radiation.
