Sam is supposed to be the best man in Brodie’s wedding which he is not looking forward to at all. That is until he meets Madeline, the bride’s sister. She will help him through his best man duties and he can be on his way. That is until he realizes he likes her…a lot. The night prior to the wedding, Evan, Madeline’s ex shows up wanting her back. Sam can’t stand idle, watching her make a big mistake and leaves. Just as Madeline thinks she has found happiness, it slips through her fingers with Evan’s arrival. Can Madeline repair what she and Sam have or will she love him forever? Finally Sam’s story! I was excited to read it and was not disappointed. This is turning out to be a wonderful series and I cannot wait to read Melissa’s story.

Driftwood Hero is the second in Lenora Worth's Driftwood Bay series. This second book gives us Sam and Maddie. With Sam needing to give the best man's speech and Maddie hearing her ex will be in town, an agreement is made between them. Worth gives readers a sweet romance with wonderfully detailed descriptions that will keep you turning the pages and wishing you were right there in the story. Although Driftwood Hero can be read as a standalone, you won't want to miss Michelle and Brodie's story before the wedding. I'm looking forward to whatever Lenora Worth has in store next.

Driftwood Hero by Lenora Worth is a sweet light enjoyable read, perfect for a Sunday evening. This is my first book by Lenora and I love her writing style, I will be reading more by her. Sam and Madeline (Maddie) fit together like puzzle pieces and you will be cheering for them through the story. Both Maddie and Sam have been hurt in past relationships, will they be able to let their guard down and make it work. This is the second in the series, but can be read as a standalone. I will be reading the first book and can't wait for the next. Make sure you read this book and the whole series, it is a must read. I was given an ARC of this book by publisher in exchange for my honest review.

I absolutely loved this story! Madeline and Sam are in the wedding of her sister and his best friend. Neither one wants to be there due to past experiences, but they are doing it for the sake of the bride and groom. I loved the chemistry and emotions between Sam and Madeline. The pain and fear and doubts felt so real. I really got into this story and didn't want it to end. And now I want to read more about how things continue for them.

Sam Hinson has been roped into being the Best Man at his friends wedding. After a run in with the Maid of Honor Madeline Sonnier Parker he learns he needs to give a speech at the reception. Sam doesn't like crowds let alone speaking in front of them so the two come to a mutual agreement to help one another. When Sam and Maddie start getting close there pasts start coming back to haunt them. I really enjoyed this book not only seeing Michelle and Brodie from Driftwood Cowboy Marry and start there lives together but also seeing two relationship damaged characters find them selves.

A heartwarming romance, that will leave you smiling at the end. Sam, a recluse war hero has been asked by his best friend to stand up his wedding, who does not do crowds. Madeline, is the sister of the bride, who is just getting out of a bad marriage. Neither are looking for a romance, but as they start to share their past heartbreaks, they soon find an attraction to each other. They try to fight off this attraction but soon love wins over. I really enjoyed these characters, great dialogue between them. A great setting, but then doesn't everyone love weddings, especially a Valentine's wedding, pure love!! This is the second book in the Driftwood series, but can be read as a stand alone. I highly recommend this series. Can't wait to read the next book.

The second book in the series takes us to Louisiana for Michelle and Brodie's wedding. (They met in the previous book.) Michelle's sister Maddie is her Maid of Honor and gets paired with Brodie's best man Sam. I enjoyed the start of this story but all the back and forth got old real quick. I kept waiting for a connection to happen between them and it never really did. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

If you like a book with a strong, silent type hot hero, this book is for you. Sam Hinson is this strong silent type who when asked to be best man for his friend Brodie, he could not turn him down even though he really doesn't want to get involved and certainly doesn't want to develop a relationship with anyone. Madeline(Maddie) Sonnier Parker is the sister of the bride who is a hurting divorced woman not wanting to get involved with anyone either . Well you can guess it Sam and Maddie are drawn to each other leading to romance. This book deals with insecurities, fears, past hurts and dealing with Sam and Maddie being enablers in their past relationships. Read the book to see how Sam and Maddie reach their HEA! Good read. I received an ARC from the publisher for an honest review.

"Driftwood Hero" by Lenora Worth is book two in the "Driftwood Bay" series. This is Madeline Sonnier Parker and Sam Hinson's story. Madeline, "Maddie", is still dealing with the hurt from her divorce. She hasn't told her parents the complete story of her divorce. Madeline didn't realize how hard her sister Michelle's wedding was going to be for her, especially with being the "maid of honor". Sam is dealing with difficult times in his life, but keeps everything inside. He is the "best man" for Brodie, Michelle's finance. Sam doesn't do weddings, but is hoping to make it through without embarrassing himself for his good friend. Sam wants Madeline to help him with the "best man" speech. Madeline asks Sam to help her aggravate her ex-husband. This agreement to help each other brings up fears, insecurities, and old hurts. When Sam and Madeline meet they are immediately drawn to each other. This is a clean romance, but it does not take away from the sensuality between them. The intimate interactions between Sam and Michelle were very sensual, a whisper in the ear, a simple touch of his fingers to her lips. Sam is hot! This is a sweet romance between two people dealing with old hurts and fears who get a second chance at true love. This book can be read as a standalone, but you get a better understanding and connection to all the characters if you've read book one. As in Lenora Worth's book one, "Driftwood Cowboy", the description of the scenery and food made the reader feel like you were there and could smell and taste the food. I also loved the cover of this book. Another great book by Lenora Worth. I look forward to reading additional books by Lenora Worth. I received a copy of this book from Tule Publishing for an honest review. My Lenora Worth reviews:

Lenora covers tough topic's in the Driftwood Series. Sam and Madeline's story talk's about enabler's and abuser's. Sam has a past that affect's his ability to trust, Maddie had a marriage that she tried to save based on perception, starting from the day before the wedding. Maddie had divorced her husband. They had been high school sweethearts and seemed to have the perfect wedding, as Maddie had hid the issues in her marriage. As Maddie and Sam are brought together as the Best Man and Maid of Honor for Michelle and Brodie's Wedding (Driftwood Cowboy) they have more similar background than they realize, as they both work at overcoming their past and moving forward. I enjoyed this story and wished it was a little longer and a little more in depth!! Received an ARC for an honest and fair review.

Sam is going to be the best man at his best friend wedding. He's come to Spirit, Louisiana, for the ceremony. Even though he doesn't do weddings. When he meets the bride's sister, Madeline. He feels a connection. He likes this charming woman, but he won't let himself become involved. His past won't let him. Once he loved a woman and she betrayed him. Can he ever give his heart again? Madeline is feisty. She gave up on her cheating husband and divorced him. Now she's an independent woman. She's having fun flirting with Sam. Unfortunately she's falling for him. I loved this tender romance. I wanted these two to move forward and find love and happiness. The wedding filled with joyful family provided a romantic backdrop to their fledgling love. The snappy dialogue made me think of romance. Lenora Worth had me hooked. I wanted a HEA. I just wasn't sure how these two stubborn people would come to their senses. I'm enjoying the Driftwood Bay Romance series. I can't wait for the next story.

Can a Valentine’s Day wedding bring two people who have sworn off love together? Madeline “Maddie” Sonnier Parker does not want to be in her sister’s wedding, but she will do it because it’s the right thing to do. She wants to see her sister happy. Maddie is still hurting after her marriage fell apart because of her husband’s cheating and drinking. Sam Hinson is not exactly happy about being in his best friend’s wedding either. He has his own reasons why he doesn’t do relationships. When Maddie finds out her ex-husband will be in town for the wedding, she comes up with a plan. Sam needs someone to help him write his best man’s toast for the wedding. So, Maddie wants Sam to be her date to irritate her ex. Will their little make believe relationship lead to more than just an act? This was the kind of book that keeps you interested all the way through it. The story lines of all of the characters were well planned out and each scene was very believable. Maddie and Sam had me cheering for them throughout the book. With all that they had been through, I felt they made a great couple. Although this is the second book in the series, it can be read as a stand alone.

A great story that I simply loved! Sam is a recluse that finds himself in the middle of his best friend's wedding having to deliver a speech he's uncomfortable doing. Madeline promises to help him through all the best man duties for a price. The price though is one Sam can't live with though. Can these two find a way through the wedding and maybe more??? Definitely a book you should grab. I definitely recommend it.
