Love a good suspense novel? Want to experience Minnesota and life in a small farm town just after the Great Depression? This well-researched and well-written mystery transports you there; along the way, it instills awareness of social issues--child abuse and prohibition--and the consequences of certain religious beliefs of the 1930's. The Spiral Bridge is a journey worth taking.
