Chapter One

Flash (Football)

Oh, woe is me. I don't belong. I'm not round. Oh, woe is me.

Althea (tennis)

Hi there, Big Boy, or should I call you Handsome? But why so sad?

Flash to Althea

I'm not round. They call me Flash, but I don't even shine. That makes me sad.

Clem (Baseball)

Hey, guys. What's up?

Althea (tennis)

Mr. Handsome said he's different. Thinks he does not belong.

Clem (Baseball)

You're not different. We're all the same.

Flash (Football)

No, I'm not the same. I'm not round.

Mr. Lee (Ping-Pong)

Did I hear round? Who's not round?

Earl (Basketball)

Is this private, or can anyone hang out?

Clem, Althea, and Mr. Lee (together)

Join us. We are trying to tell Flash that he does belong.
