The World, The Flesh & The Devil

This is a novel about veterans written by a Gulf War veteran. This is the story of a Texas boy who becomes restless, and when barely of age, joins the army, which leads to his brutal experiences in Germany. From there he is sent to Vietnam to fight in America's most unpopular war, but in the process finds out what it really means to be a man in this world - according to the flesh. And that begs the question: how can a sinner repent if he does not know he is a sinner? And that also begs an answer: fighting communists was not a sin, but how some US veterans lived in Vietnam was a sin.

About the Author

I was born in South Africa. I came to America as a baby. Dallas, Texas is my hometown, but I now live in Mexico. When I was 12, I was placed into the Masonic Home in Ft Worth - a boarding school, due to family turmoil. I graduated as valedictorian of my 1990 senior class. I am a US veteran. I write fiction, nonfiction and poetry - and I am also an artist. Jesus is my Lord and Savior. My wife Luz and I worship Christ as our God.
